The
rally we all love ... come and meet your old tjommies, make
new ones and have a weekend to remember ! All the familiar
events will be happening .... Welcome Braai, Friday Joll,
DRAG RACING, Games, Concourse, Sunset Cruise, Prize giving,
Kak Praatjies etc ...
This
year the rally takes place from sometime on Friday 17th to
Sunday 19 June. The Thursday 16th is a public holiday so a
lekker rustig scenic ride to the "Groot Dam" should
be on the cards.
We
have kept allers at the Elephant Hotel this year and create
a party central theme. All events will either take place here
or will leave from here, so it becomes the meeting point (some
of us hak vas at the meeting point !) for the rally. We have
negotiated rock bottom-ish prices for the rally and we are
sure that will make gooi-ing your favorite tipple that much
more enjoyable. (mine's a whiskey and water - ta!)
The
emphasis the weekend (as always) is to relax and have fun
with your mates. The Drags will take place on Saturday morning
- this is the only time we appeal to you to be more serious
and ensure that you are dressed appropriately (Helmet, Jacket,
Long trousers, boots and gloves). The games will follow from
about 12:30 and the cruise from 15:30 which must be booked
at the Hotel reception. We will give away some goodies at
about 20:30 (prizegiving) and then boogie the night away ....
